A descending necrotizing mediastinitis case treated with early surgical intervention

The most important factor affecting the morbidity and mortality in DNM is early diagnosis and prompt treatment with early aggressive surgical drainage. Herein, we present a case of mediastinitis that developed after deep cervical infection that was treated with early surgical intervention, changing the course of the disease.
