Current Thoracic Surgery is the official, peer-reviewed, open-access publication of the Turkish Society of Thoracic Surgery. The journal aims to provide a global platform for the dissemination of high-quality research in general thoracic surgery, thoracic oncology, lung transplantation, and pulmonary diseases.
While maintaining a strong focus on clinical trials and experimental studies, the journal particularly welcomes manuscripts on minimally invasive thoracic surgery (VATS/RATS), technological advancements, and multidisciplinary research relevant to thoracic and pulmonary diseases. Our goal is to bridge the gap between regional practices and international standards, serving thoracic surgeons, residents, and researchers worldwide.
